About Sabrina
Sabrina Janick graduated from Northumberland College in Halifax in 1999. She began her career working in two spa settings—first in Dartmouth, then in Halifax—before spending 10 years at a holistic health clinic alongside acupuncturists, chiropractors, and fellow massage therapists. During that time, she developed extensive experience treating clients with chronic pain, back pain, cancer, and neuropathic conditions.
Following that, Sabrina spent nine years at a physiotherapy clinic in Halifax, where she became well versed in treating clients with complex injuries, including those sustained in motor vehicle collisions, athletic injuries, concussions, arthritis, jaw pain, and chronic neck and shoulder pain.

Sabrina’s practice currently focuses on treating clients that have chronic pain, back pain, TMJ (temper-mandibular joint) jaw pain as well as shoulder and neck tension. She also treats clients that have had breast cancer (see more information under specialty).
Sabrina's Specialty
Sabrina has over 20 years of experience supporting clients recovering from breast cancer, including those who are post-mastectomy, post-lumpectomy, or recovering from breast reconstruction surgery. To deepen her understanding, she has observed a latissimus dorsi breast reconstruction procedure in the operating room — giving her unique insight into how these surgeries affect the muscles and surrounding tissues. Sabrina is highly skilled in treating scar tissue and addressing the mobility restrictions that can develop in the chest, shoulders, and upper back following surgery or radiation therapy. Clients who have had top-surgery are welcome.
